Trackpad no longer working

Once I go through the usb recovery process it breaks the trackpad.

@noob8cake25 Which version did you use? Can you use a USB mouse? Please provide more information

I can try those things and yes it did. If it helps I am on a dell chromebook 3100.

@3kh0 I did notice that when I plugged in a mouse the "mouse" section in setting appears. Almost like the trackpad is not recognized.

@noob8cake25 wow, then the chromebook removes the trackpad, if you can deal with it, then just keep it. but if it becomes too much, ask for a replacement. if they ask how it happened, say someone did something with your chromebook when you were not looking

My school will most likely have me pay for it to be replaced but I wonder if you can make it recognize it. My school admins know me for messing with chromebooks and bypassing stuff so If I try to play it off it probably won't work. Maybe there is a solution to make it recognize the trackpad? On higher version the trackpad works fine but anything under like 100 breaks it.

Try upgrading, to version 105, that was before LTBEEF was patched.
