Currently in autorest/powershell, if the directive syntax is correct, we will not validate the directive takes effective or not. Ideally we should provide warnings for useless directives.

Following are some examples we should cover.

  1. Hide/remove a non existed cmdlets/parameters
  2. Rename/a parameter name
