When we first decided not to go forward supporting azure-functions-pack, this was based off of evidence that reducing package size was not a significant factor. However, we should revisit this.

Azure/azure-functions-pack#84

This is an item to explore the effects and if we could quickly update azure-functions-pack to have latest dependencies.

CALL TO COMMUNITY: If anyone has evidence in this space please do share :) This isn't the highest priority for me but is something that we're thinking about

Closing due to lack of activity. WEBSITE_RUN_FROM_PACKAGE has been working perfectly fine to solve perf problems for large packages
