Cognitive - Text Analytics for JavaScript (January-June 2021)

Azure Text Analytics is an AI service that uncovers insights such as sentiment, entities, relations and key phrases in unstructured text.

The @azure/ai-text-analytics package provides the SDK for JavaScript & TypeScript developers to write applications that use Azure Text Analytics. Version 5 of this package follows the latest guidelines for writing TypeScript SDKs for Azure services with the goal of being a client library that is developer-friendly, idiomatic to the JavaScript ecosystem, and as consistent across different languages and platforms as possible.

This issue tracks the work we have planned for this package for the duration of January - June 2021

New features:

• Adding support for linked entities recognition in the beginAnalyzeBatchActions method.
• Add support for pii categories.
• Add support for new features the service adds.

General improvements:

• Improving naming and documentation for opinion mining.
• New design for healthcare.

Testing improvements:

• Add perf tests.
