In April, we worked on revisions for NIH ODSS Generalist Repository Ecosystem Initiative page. The new page will be updated with GREI more current projects. We also discussed plans for future webinar speakers including asking “repositories to volunteer to provide a speaker that can present a complete data sharing workflow for their repository using a real example of NIH-funded research.”

I've created five variations of graphic for the execution committee website that displays all the member repositories logos. The proposed graphic will be under review for an upcoming meeting. Also, I’ve been helping review and made suggestions on several GREI related blogs and websites.

  • We decided to postpone the GREI researcher stories webinar until later this year (September or October) since we haven't gotten confirmation from many panelists yet.
  • I've reached to our panelist (Sarah) to inform her of the delay. Note: She has not responded to my emails.

  • We discussed having a more streamed line process to move blogs publishing along. Flow chart and “GR as IR” blogs to be published within a week. Published maybe delayed a few days to align with another organizations outreach plans.
  • We are currently revising the “ODSS GREI Webinars Page.”
  • The Execution unit has started the search for potential speakers for the "Researcher Stories" webinar. Just looking for names at the moment. No outreach to potential speakers is needed at this time. Webinar date TBD.

  • This month the committee created a Zenodo metadata report. I was tasked with refining the keywords in the report spreadsheet in a format that the group can use to review and make their initial recommendations on the findings.

  • @dliburd became the liaison between the Execution Team and the GREI Cross-Repository Search Task Group. My role would be to make sure GREI Execution Team is supporting timely/efficient publishing of blogs/organizing of webinars from Cross-Repository Search Task Group. I would be the point of contact if the Cross-Repository Search Task Group needs any of that done.
  • The Planning and Execution Units are now merged into one Unit (Chicago face to face meeting update). New Issue created for "Planning and Execution Unit Epic: GREI Planning and Execution Unit #332
