Color palette for sub application is not supported

Please, compare two screenshots. The first one is for IDEA (that uses JediTerm), the second one is for NetBeans (that seems to use another library):

As you see in both IDE's dark theme is used. However, MC colors are correct in NB, and wrong in IDEA.

By the way, is there any sense to open issues? I am asking, because I've opened several issues weeks ago and still didn't get any answer. I have no complaints I simply don't want to waste my time.
