Shambala Waterworks

Great find! Besides, I've always suspected something like this. A keen eye may notice that in various levels some rooms are less "decorated" than others, or certain objects or bricked-up doors that shouldn't be there. The game was late, in my opinion it should have been much bigger as a map, they decided to cut off some parts, including the Shambala Waterworks, and I suspect more.
One last curiosity, there are many SHW files, among which Urgon is still renamed with the old file, as if it was always in the deleted level

From what I've heard they had much troubles with the game engine as well. You can tell the game development was rushed from many game crashes and the win32 dialogs instead of proper game menus. And being late in the production most likely forced them to redesign the Shambala sanctuary level . The jeep level was probably pushed in as the result of this decision.
Also, there was a plan for a multiplayer game but it was scrapped late in production.

Yeah, I have all the concept art and promotional material available, and what you're saying may be true. But they could also be just drafts, perhaps of the first sketches of the Palawan volcano, then modified during the writing of the rooms. However, if you notice, also in the Infernal Engine level, towards the end of the level, in the knight's head room, to the right after collecting the two diamonds, there is a completely empty scepter lectern. I assume that an additional piece of the machine was also in the pipeline, then abandoned.
As for Shambala, the corridor at the end of the level can clearly be seen that it was made in a hurry, a sign that a level is really "missing". You would have to read the entire codex looking for new discoveries, but that would be a huge effort, as is rebuilding the whole level of the Aqueduct with this very little material ;-)

Which one is that? Can't remember where exactly would that be.

Besides that corridor in Shambala you can clearly see improper texture stitching in ice boss arena.
Maybe this was the tunnel that originally connected water works with this area.

Oh yeah, I totally forgot about this place. This room doesn't make much sense since it's pretty much empty, besides those 2 diamonds you can pick up there. So yes, it could be that another machine part (maybe the tool from beyond) was put in here but removed before final release 🤔.

Hi man, i don't know if this new discovery is from Shambala Waterworks, but there are 3 new items that i've found, apart the oil jar and keys. I also found a new brief script with Sophia, and that the Map (2500 credits) was originally in the invenctory.

I am aware of those unused items. Besides the unused Shambala items,
the map item I think could the secret map you can buy in the store (Peru secret level).
The Turner key was probably original planed to open a door in the Babylon level (2nd level). I think this key fits in that keyhole.
