Comment from @RMeli in today's developers call - we should consider building a separate section in the registry that specifically points to code that has gone unmaintained for a long while / been abbandoned completely.

That's a neat idea. I think it would be useful to have some info about the maintenance status of all kits though, rather than a separate section. e.g. days since last release, days since last commit, number of open prs, number of open issues (I imagine this info could be updated automatically)
