Can you mentioned what people need to bring to class in terms of:

• prior coding capabilities
• prior ML knowledge
• prior linear algebra knowledge

thanks for the questions. Answers are below.

1. The target audience is AI/ML novices
2. No
3. Mathematical and LA background is assumed and was communicated as such
4. Coding (in Python/Matlab) was requested, but necessary. In the course we had two tutors helping with actual implementation details.

Do you think we should document this in the README/an intro slide?

I think this would be a great idea to include this in the README. Because then, it might be more straight forward for me and others to judge, if the material is suitable for the occassion. As an inspiration, how to write such a description, allow me to suggest this [resource](https://teachtogether.tech/en/index.html#s:process-personas). We tried to have something like this in HPC Carpentry [here](https://hpc-carpentry.github.io/hpc-intro/learner-profiles/index.html).
