What?

Currently mesh-wallet/browser seems to be implementing the CIP-129? | Governance Identifiers standard

but Mesh seems to be adding an additional network tag which is not present within CIP129

Extra context

The existing definition for DRep IDs via CIP-105 have seen some adoption in tooling (Cardano CLI, hardware wallets, DBSync, etc).

Was there a choice to go with CIP129 over CIP-105 definitions?

@Ryun1 this is counterproductive. if you intend not to allow any new tools/existing tools to start adopting the cip0129, how do you expect a migration ever?

I was not trying to discourage adoption of CIP129,
agreed that would be counterproductive
(I have edited and reworded to attempt to avoid this)

To refocus the discussion,
as it stands Mesh seems to have implemented something close to CIP129,
but to me looks different as it includes a network tag, which isnt present in either standard
