flatpak rather than rpm for muiltiple distributions

While rpm is great, it has some limitations for distribution, especially for .deb. rpm dependency could be difficult for each distribution. Would it be possible to make Morpheus a flatpak? It would be able to run on different linux systems from the startup to the more well know distributions.
