If it's gonna be bolted down, then the board needs a generous electrically disconnected place for the bolt.

Could also be part of the ground plane. IIRC I grounded the my last board's screw terminals. Quite easy when using something like these.

If "bolting down" is part of the concept, it might be fun to have one of the bolt terminals pulled up to a wakeup pin, so that it doubles as intrusion (or rather detachment) detection.

I was thinking the bolting part would be more of an enclosure design thing but maybe it would be good to have an anti-tamper type thing.

Though, if something was "tampered with" and removed, chances are you are not going to run to the spot to rescue it and beat up the bad guy.

It may be a good way to indicate that the device should be put offline though? If x pin is triggered send a message to remove it from the available nodes, it wouldn't protect the device but it would at least not send people for a wild goose chase.
