Summary

The section [Tech preview] Manage a bucket using a custom resource described the various fields that have to be filled out in the AppVault YAML. The spec.providerType field only accepts specific values, but the docs do not list them anywhere (and the example uses the generic one, not the NetApp specific values for Ontap-S3 or StorageGrid.

Can we please add the valid values? This is a proposal that includes the valid values, feel free to re-word.

spec.providerType: (Required) Determines what provides the backup; for example, NetApp ONTAP S3 or Microsoft Azure. Valid values are generic-s3, ontap-s3 and storagegrid-s3
