Disclaimer: these are my subjective opinions and I'm just putting it out there in case anyone agrees and wants to take a crack at it (I may do so myself)

Make Next Event header bigger

I feel like the Next Event header could be bigger, either exactly the same size as the orange line above, or closer to that size

Make Sponsor and Donate buttons closer to contributors image

Seems like the Sponsor and Donate buttons should be closer to the image, matching the spacing of the Fork This Website button to its image

Meetup slider comes in too late

When scrolling down the page, I think the meetup slider comes in a little too late

When I scrolled this far, I thought for a second "wait, what happened to all the rest of the content?". And then I scrolled a little bit further down and it pops up

Make next event widget text match surrounding text

I feel like the next event widget's text should match the surrounding text in terms of size

It seems either it should match the text size exactly, or should be different enough to distinguish itself as a separate thing entirely. But as it stands now, it feels like it's in this grey zone where it's close enough to the surrounding text, but not quite similar enough

Remove paper airplane (?) icon

Seems like the paper airplane (?) icon is out of place and either should be removed, or moved

Move Fork This Website button to the top of the page

The Fork This Website button feels a bit off

I think because it looks so similar to the Donate and Sponsor buttons above.

I like what Charlton did with the NEW! text on the top of the reverse job board

I feel like the "fork this website" button could be in the top right hand corner of the page (I've seen that elsewhere) or at in the footer, depending on how prominent we want it to be

Are people really forking the website...? 🤔😛

@ebanner Thank for this documentation on the issue. I'm actually going to start completely reworking the stylesheets. In the process I'll come across some of the things you mentioned here. Keep up the discussion in this thread so once I make the changes public via a draft PR, we have a point of reference as we review things that could potentially be reworked.

Thank you for pointing out the airplane. That's actually a heading. I didn't notice that when I made the changes earlier. Will make a fix PR soon.

#183 Fixes the heading color because it was matching the section background color.
