Someone wrote me an issue because my Mastodon client fetches a list of instances without the user's consent.

I imagine you don't collect a lot of data, but I'd like to be able to link a privacy policy that briefly explains the purpose, the categories of data being collected (e.g., IP addresses) and their purpose, and ideally also things like how long you store that data.
