Hello @Vinzent03 !

I'm a huge fan of Hotkeys for Templates and Hotkeys for Specific Files. These 2 plug-ins changed the way I use Obsidian in a way that you cannot imagine.

Since I'm just starting to use Obsidian to create a PKM, having these plugins is amazing. I really thank you for this :)

I wanna make a suggestion that is 100% related to Hotkeys for Specific Files: a feature to interact with Notes located in the Sidebar

Example:
You can see at discord many people creating beautiful notes with a lot of html/css customization, embed notes and backlinks and using than in the Sidebar for navigation.

I did something like that: I have 2 notes in my Right Sidebar to serve as a Timeblocking and Habit Tracker:

  • I divided my day into stages (planning, focused work and break) and apply some tasks and remiders (drink water, brush my teeth, strech and breath) to do along the day.
  • These notes stays in the Sidebar to a quick look during my day

What I need is a Hotkey to Show/Call these two notes in the Sidebar. We have shortcut to open/close sidebar, show/hide Backlinks, Outline, Search but we don't have one for Notes in the Sidebar :(

Instead of open the note in the active panel, I need a hotkey to open the Sidebar and show the specific note (important: the note was put/located in the sidebar previously)

  • Maybe a toggle on the File to Open Command with to show the note previously located on the sidebar instead of open in the active panel.

I hope you like my suggestion. Let me know if you need some clarification about it! I'm on Discord as well.

Have a great day and thanks for your time!
