[Bug]: Unable to Install Paradox Launcher, mscorlib recursive resource lookup bug, rundll32.exe Assert Failure

Description

Getting thise error whenever i try installing the paradox launcher through setup wizard. Have tried every other solution i could find but nothing has worked. It was mentioned in another thread before on here, with no reply as to how to fix it.

Steps to reproduce

Simply install the PDX Launcher with the MSI from the website. paradox-launcher-installer-2024_11.msi

Expected behaviour

The launcher installs and launches as intented.

The first issue can be resolved by installing dotnet48 verb from winetricks

However Paradox Launcher still won’t work in Whisky.

Have already installed dotnet48, and it still doesnt work.
