Three times, I have completely reinstalled Windows 10, trying to find the culprit that causes this problem. I just finished installing the last app, and T-Clock announced that it was installing an update. Thinking this would be a routine event, I said OK. Unless someone here can tell me how to fix this, I will have to reinstall Windows again, for the fourth time, because there is no way I am going to work without being able to drag with my mouse. I will wait a day or so and hope for a solution. If I don't hear from anyone, then I'll begin the reinstallation and never touch T-Clock again. It's a shame if that happens, because I really like what T-Clock does.

Here is a bit more information, in case it might prove helpful. The problem extends beyond what I initially described. Not only can I not drag windows and taskbar/tray icons, I also cannot drag, for example, bookmarks to rearrange them (multiple browsers tried) and various other elements that are typically "draggable". Also, prior to the problem, I had created two bootable backups on two different hard drives. I am able to boot from each of these drives without incident, but even though the backups were created well before the problem occurred, booting from them does not alleviate the problem. I'm not quite sure what that might indicate, but it seems significant enough to share. Thanks to all!
