That would be sound cool for render of some HLKZ movies and HL/CS TAS runs to show speed at non-standart way, since I can see that in-game sprite HUD can not fit a some cases more than a with system fonts.

Like Arial, Verdana and whatever other fonts. I got watched recently some channel that dedicated to publishing CS 1.6 Surf WR runs and I found that sys. fonts more fit than a normal in-game HUD digits for such content: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NxVIBeKC0W4

Might be possible to use VGUI for that but idk how hard that is. Probably easier to dump speed into .txt for every frame then hook that up in a video editor.
