You do not have permission to use the name "Vasara" or any variant which includes the word "Vasara" in the title of your releases on Simplici7y or elsewhere. Choose a name that does not imply any endorsement or association with my original work.

I´m terribly sorry – I never had any intention to imply that you endorsed my work, and the only association I ever meant to imply was the “forked or derivative work” sense. I’m extraordinarily bad at coming up with original names, as demonstrated by almost all of my level names being stolen from song titles – and, for that matter, the incomprehensible initialism I’ve (hopefully temporarily?) renamed this project to. If you have any better suggestions, I’m entirely open to hearing them.

I also apologize for my entire approach with this project – until a few days ago, I mistakenly believed you hadn’t worked on anything relating to Marathon in years and that there was thus no purpose in submitting any PRs to Vasara’s GitHub repository. I’ve since been working on a message to you about several development-related topics, including but not limited to my fork´s entire existence, but I discarded everything I’d written after rereading it this morning. I’ve gotten in enough trouble over the years by wording myself poorly; I’m trying not to add to the list. (I probably won’t send it anytime soon; for similar reasons, I spent over an hour writing and rewriting [and rewriting {and rewriting ⟨and…⟩}] this message.)

In any case, if I’d known you were still actively developing for the engine, I’d have handled this entire project completely differently. I’ll rename the other files in my repository later when I’m confident that doing so won’t break them (I’m currently sufficiently tired that I don’t trust myself to do so). I apologize again for any offense or confusion my actions have caused.
