Context

The AWS SDK V2 is being deprecated. We need to remove all uses of it from the CDK.

Task Description

call-aws-service.ts creates a mapping for users to call the sdk via a stepfunctions task. Update the mappings to use sdkv3 APIs.

  • Note that this might actually just be a matter of updating the tests because I can't find where we actually specifically use sdkv2.

Acceptance Criteria

  1. All unit tests and integ tests are running (and pass) with sdkv3. Verify that the behavior matches the expected, not just that the resource deploys.
