Describe the bug
Android sound is thinner compared to Snapweb

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Press play in Snapdroid
  2. Press play in Snapweb

Environment details

  • Andrroid 11, Pixel 4a
  • Snapcast v0.22.0

According to the OpenSLES reference, performance mode must be set to "none" to allow device's built-in audio effects

Note: If you do not require a low latency path and wish to take advantage of the device's built-in audio effects (for example to improve acoustic quality for video playback), you must explicitly set the performance mode to SL_ANDROID_PERFORMANCE_NONE.

See also the AAudio reference and the Oboe reference

Currently performance mode is set to "low latency", which is not required, because Snapclient is just an audio player and not used interactively, i.e. there are no sounds played as reaction to user input.
