There's no Kotlin 1.7 compatible release yet (see the compatibility table in Readme). This is because this is a Kotlin compiler plugin that needs to adjust to the unstable API of each Kotlin release.

Kotlin 1.7 support was merged 2 weeks ago (see commits), but it wasn't released yet.

I'm not sure if there's a snapshot available somewhere.
