Comment by shubhsnov Thanks for reporting this. The red dots and lines seem like a As for screen tearing, can you help us with a screenshot, and even some logs.
Also, do you use Brackets on some other distro? Have you seen this issue elsewhere? |
Comment by shubhsnov Is this exclusive to Brackets? This seems like an issue with the Nvidia drivers and Ubuntu in general. Found this thread: https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2374405, it might be useful. Although I'd suggest being a bit cautious before using the fix. Read through it properly. |

Thanks this #14610 fixes the libfreetype issue and for the screen tearing you were right it's because of nvidia, i have that screen tearing everywhere like firefox scrolling or draging windows! |

Description
There is a huge screen tearing every time when i want to scroll and i should say i had a screen tearing after installing linux mint but i fixed that and i have no screen tearing out of the brackets editor or except the brackets every things are good or nowhere i can see screen tearing except the brackets editor.
And also i have red dots or red lines between characters or something like little lines with blue or red colours between characters!
Is there any help?
