Brave rendering wrong fonts from Windows partition in Linux Mint

Description

Brave Browser renders fonts from Windows partition since I always have my windows partition mounted in Linux Mint. It renders Helvetica condensed font and other fonts which are not system defaults. This problem is not seen in Mozilla firefox though. Also this has been a problem for a long time ( Many months and many builds updated) and this keeps me not touch brave but today thought of finding a soluton.
Both Firefox & brave are installed through ppa.

Proof to see Brave uses Windows Partition:

Steps to Reproduce

1. Mount Windows Partiton
2. Relaunch Brave
3. Fonts from Windows partition back again

Unmounting Windows partition gives you correct fonts.

Brave	1.20.103 Chromium: 88.0.4324.152 (Official Build) (64-bit)

OS	Linux Mint 20.1 Cinnamon

Version/Channel Information:

Been happening on all versions.

• Can you reproduce this issue with the current release? Yes
• Can you reproduce this issue with the beta channel? No idea
• Can you reproduce this issue with the nightly channel? No idea

Other Additional Information:

• Does the issue resolve itself when disabling Brave Shields? No
• Does the issue resolve itself when disabling Brave Rewards? No
• Is the issue reproducible on the latest version of Chrome? I dont use Malware Chrome but the problem is not there in Firefox.

I also tried changing fonts in brave settings but doesn help.Here is the fonts I set.
