Description

Edit download path doesn't show the current download path

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Clean install 0.22.6, ensure default download path is shown in about:preferences
  2. Download a file and change the default path to a different folder/location
  3. Ensure default download path is changed to the path in step 2
  4. Click on edit download, doesn't show the updated path instead shows default downloads path

Actual result:

Should show the default download path

this is intentional. you can't use Desktop as default for the first time. Check behavior of Chrome on Windows for parity

Able to set Desktop as default path on Chrome for the first time itself.

@jumde @darkdh can this be pushed to 0.23.x? or later? if so, let's adjust the milestone here (0.22.x is already huge and we're trying to be feature-frozen). Thanks! 😄 👍

after I choose my download folder, the box stays blank, I do not see that Brave accepted my download location
