Yes

Describe the issue you encountered:

My mouse (Roccat Kova) uses history navigation macros. It works in most applications (e.g. Chrome, Xcode, Safari, Spotify, Android Studio), regardless of what the hotkey combos are for going back/forward through history. However, the macros do not work in Brave.

Using BetterTouchTool the action shows up as “3F Swipe Left (Page Back)”, so probably something gestural, although it generally does work in non-gestural apps too (e.g. Spotify).

This can be reproduced without my mouse following the below steps.

Expected behavior:

Being able to go back/forth through history using these macros

  • Platform (Win7, 8, 10? macOS? Linux distro?):

MacOS Sierra

  • Brave Version (revision SHA):

0.12.15

  • Steps to reproduce:
Without a macro enabled mouse, I could only find a way with BetterTouchTool to reproduce this issue.

    1. Go into BTT and setup a hotkey to use the "3F Swipe Left (Page Back)" (&/or forward)
    2. See in Brave the BTT macro will not work, while working in most other applications (e.g. Chrome)

(Also see Fixed back/forward gesture to match system preferences #3299, as this may be the same problem discovered via different means)
