Would be nice to have. I've collected some relevant links below, pull requests welcome.

The best way I can see to start this process would be to use Noto Sans Canadian Aboriginal as a starting place. Noto Sans Canadian Aboriginal currently only has a regular weight, so this work could also expand to include light, medium, semibold, and bold weights.

I'm still not sure if an italic is needed because my experience with this syllabary is minimal.

This was started in the Roman source, but still needs work.
