Even for contributing to the project, we need to know each detail about how things are working.

So proper documentation is required.

The maintainers will create the documentation. Although if you understand the working you can contribute to the documentation.md file. It is most welcomed.

Hello, I understood how to register in the site. Can I start the documentation with that?

Yes sure.
Just add "Getting started with " and inside that "Steps to register" in the documnetation.md.
Write the steps and create a PR
