The v4 breaking changes say:

Tokenless uploading is unsupported

But elsewhere the README says:

For public repositories, no token is needed

Which is correct? Is v4 going to gain support for tokenless uploading in the future for public repos?

Currently tokenless uploading is not available in v4. I know that this will break some of our open source usage, so we're looking into options for tokenless support.
