Overlay element is preventing the rule check for background text

Issue Description

Hi I have integrated Axe-core into my web application. In which I open the overlay color picker and ran the accessibility for the page. But the rules are not validated for those foreground and background text which are located on overlay color picker area..

is there any option to omit the overlay elements?

Thanks for the issue. I'm not sure exactly what you mean by overlay color picker. Is that the overlay that opens when you click on an <input type="color">? Could you possibly provide a screen shot of what you are referring to?
