oidc-client library is not maintained and is archived for a while now, on their repo they suggest the "oidc-client-ts" library as a replacement and some migration documentation can be found on: https://github.com/authts/oidc-client-ts/blob/main/docs/migration.md

Additional context

Not being maintained speaks for it self, there are several open issues in the original oidc-client repo that will not be resolved.
