Some users need CAC / PIV card authentication in order to pass security audits. The workaround now is proxy in front of Kibana. While this is doable, it would be nice to support natively.

CAC/PIV cards will work with Kibana once #7341 is completed. The CAC/PIV cards rely on x509 certificates internally, which PKI supports.
