The customer is now giving up using Canvas.

Customer Details - Feature Request:
The customer asked us to support Type IP in Canvas. They use Elastic as Security Analytics engine for their network. One of their main data type is IP and they use Canvas to provide the security analytics report for their executives. If Canvas supported Type IP in Canvas, they would use Elastic more and renew the contract next year.

@cqliu1 Apologies for my late response. There was additional feedback from the customer that they would like to filter by IP range if possible. Is it possible on 7.12? If no, can we integrate the feature on the next release?
