Simple WordPress Plugin that enables email notifications to be sent when a post status is changed to published or pending.
Once the plugin is enabled, the 'Email Notifications' page will appear under the admin settings menu. Email functionality is disabled unless an email address is entered, multiple email addresses can be separated by commas.
