Done Criteria

A Lotus full node can be started from a snapshot and serve requests based on that snapshot without staying synced with the chain.

Why Important

This is needed for the to-be-created conformance testing for the Common Node API: filecoin-project/FIPs#1032

User/Customer

RPC API implementers

Notes

  2. I'm aware of the Common Node API testing usecase. Maybe there are others? Please go ahead and add.
