Steam is unresponsive. Completely black or dark blue upon start-up.

Upon starting up steam, the app displays the loading icon for a bit before completely turning black. If force quitted at that point, the main window pops up but is completely unresponsive. It seems to be random chance what UI elements show up (sometimes, it's just dark blue color. in the photo below, the top and bottom bars showed up).

From what I can tell, this may be an issue with the updated flatpak nvidia package? Steam launches fine before I install the nvidia drivers. Afterwards, the Steam flatpak doesn't work, but if installed in a toolbox, it still seems to work fine (if a bit laggy).

The system is running Fedora Silverblue 40 with nvidia drivers version 560.35.03 from rpmfusion.
