I am using IPT 3.0.2 and am trying to update an existing resource by uploading a new archive with tab delimited fields. My occurrence file has some fields with values containing multi-value delimiters (never tab) like commas and | . When I try to change the field delimiter by editing the source file, the IPT does not register the change. I also tried clicking the options in the help box but the change is not registered. This is also the case for all the other delimiters so it appears to be a bug.

Just to follow up. I can now set the delimiter without issues in the source data.

And the preview does show the data correctly separated in columns

However, it was not until I analysed the data that the columns correctly showed on the resource front page. But maybe this is common behaviour?

Maybe we should just add a note somewhere that it should be re-analysed in case of something like that.
