I would suggest the addition of fixed portrait and animation for each team member mainly in Team mode, it is possible to use this feature but only one member of the team displays the extra portrait, this in the select and mainly in VS mode. The idea is that we have options to mess with those portraits for each member as well as scale position and everything. Example of how the code would be in System.def.
In this you could use the character's animation 0 and of course all members at the same time.
p1.member1.face.anim = -1
p1.member1.face.spr = 9000, 1
p1.member1.face.done.anim = -1
p1.member1.face.done.spr = 9000, 1
p1.member1.face.offset = 0, 0
p1.member1.face.scale = 1.0, 1.0
p1.member1.face.slide.speed = 0, 0
p1.member1.face.slide.dist = 0, 0
Already in this you could use a fixed portrait 9000,1 would be a big portrait.
The two would work together as in some kof games.
