I just want to click a few cells for the gated note and the next few cells function like a tie and the notes after are gated again. For instance, if the C note is enabled, a pink-colored cell for the next 3 blocks creates a whole note. -Omar B

So maybe if you shift click it will place a tied note. if you have two tied notes in adjacent columns (no matter the pitch) then dont send a gate out on the second one. Right?
