SHOULD BECOME PART OF THE DOCUMENTATION / README FOR A BETTER UNDERSTANDING

Full story in the link below.
It can / will happen to you if you shut down grott server during daylight.

Not every time, but sometimes cause I have 8 inverters and observed that behaviour yesterday when I had lost one again after I had fixed 3 IP adresses just in the weeks before (ATTENTION: that incident of the 3 was 4 weeks after the first big breakdown in July caused by Growatt).
This time I had a bigger HA issue and had to run in repair mode for a few hours. When that was fixed and reboot was done I recogniced that a single inverter seems to not deliver any more data - while in reality it was, but only to Growatt cloud.

I had not recogniced such pattern or behaviour before - all of this had happened since july.

If you shut down your grott / grott HA addon server then you can face dead grott sensor most likely once a year if you have only 1 inverter, which means you might forget about that issue. A RED STICKER might help to remind you.

and has another Pro Tip for all those who have mulitple growatt inverters running, when you will face confusion while updating IP adresses of multiple datalogger sticks one after each other cause you might be fooled by the browser / cloud that the 2nd and 3rd inverter uses already the right IP.

Hi There Typxii, what's your inverter ? i do own a couple of SPF5000es and there's no inverter page.

Have you tried to totally block communication from the inverters to outside world?

Cheers, Tabascoz
