Issue-Feature Complex enough to require an in depth planning process and actual budgeted, scheduled work. Resolution-Duplicate There's another issue on the tracker that's pretty much the same thing.

Hello,

Thank you for the great work in wt! Appoligize if this has been mentioned before but:

Would it be possible to have a global hotkey toggle to minimize/maximize terminal to the system tray? For example, "MobaXterm" uses Ctrl+M to minimize and maximize globally as a hotkey. Can something similar be done for Microsoft Windows Terminal?

Attached is how it looks like in MobaXterm (just a example)

Hi! I think you're looking for #5727. This is unfortunely still a backlog item, which means there's currently no plan to implement it.

You may also find #653 interesting.

I wouldn't say no plan - there's definitely a plan (see #9274, #9854). "backlog" might not be entirely correct anymore 😋

Hi! We've identified this issue as a duplicate of another one that already exists on this Issue Tracker. This specific instance is being closed in favor of tracking the concern over on the referenced thread. Thanks for your report!
