Currently the master branch of PTVSD (for experimental debugger) is bundled with the extension, this needs to be changed to the release version of PTVSD (from PyPI).
The relevant code is in .travis.yml, we just need to uncomment it:

  • I.e. pull release version of PTVSD (from PyPI) into CI
  • Run tests against released version of PTVSD
