Hi!

Whenever pylance detects a problem when i am in the interactive window in vs code, it just stops working. It no longer gives autocomplete (to make things worse, pylance detects problem even when there is no problem). I hope the attached image shows the problem.
I would greatly appreciate help on this, it is really irritating. Pylance autocomplete really speeds up development.

(not sure if this question belongs in this forum or the pylance-forum)
vs code pylance

I am sorry to say, I added the same question to both "pylance" and visual "studio code discussions" forums and both questions where converted to issues. So this issue also exists here microsoft/pylance-release#1586
I apologise for the confusion.

I'm going to close this as a dupe of the one in the pylance-release repo.
