Duplicate text in linux terminals when an extension sends a command to terminal #21389

Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes/No

  • VS Code Version: 1.78.2
  • OS Version: Windows_NT x64 10.0.22621

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Connect to a linux machine using Remote - SSH (or WSL)
  2. Create a simple python script and run it using the Python extension
  3. A terminal will open and it will display the command to run the script twice

  1. Trying the same in windows does not happen
