Common Requirements

• The MDs of the Spatial Data Service (srv:SV_ServiceIdentification) fail to validate an element of the XML schema that is mandatory to fill in the Quality section, which seems to present inconsistent requirements between them:

  General requirements> C.1: XML Schema
  C.1: XML Schema Requires only 2 results of conformity (gmd:result) with INSPIRE standards, but Data Quality>md sds-invocable 5.5: Conformity to Technical Specifications: requires at least 3:

  1. With Regulation 1089/2010 (Data Quality> md sds-invocable 5.3: Conformity with INSPIRE implementing rules).
  2. By http://inspire.ec.europa.eu/id/ats/metadata/2.0/sds-invocable (Data Quality>m sds-invocable 5.4: Spatial Data Service Category).
  3. And a third, to comply with Regulation 976/2009, the aforementioned Data Quality>md sds-invocable 5.5: Conformity to Technical Specifications.

Conformance Class 8: INSPIRE data sets and data set series linked service metadata

• Add Class 8 conformance to avoid errors when test that at least two Resource Locator elements are present in the data set metadata pointing to the URLs where the related network services can be contacted. Additionally, test the presence of gmd:protocol and gmd:applicationProfile elements, paired with the defined codelist values from the INSPIRE Registry. [1]
