Inside the materialui/src/less/variables/custom-variables.less it states that @input-width: 320px; .. how can i override it ? i've tried @input-width: 100px inside my custom-overrides.less but still nothing happens . pls help.. thank you

I have the same problem and i didn't even found a way to set pass a class to an specific textfield so i can change the style myself. Any way of doing this?

me too. I'm passing a className to the textfield component then set it's width....
