Test Gateway API v1.2 Release Candidate and give feedback: https://kubernetes.slack.com/archives/CR0H13KGA/p1726530817027909.

To test:

  • update go.mod to point to v1.2.0-rc1 branch
  • make any changes necessary to go code
  • update conformance tests to point to v1.2.0-rc1
  • run conformance tests

If any conformance tests fail, triage failures and file issues. If it's an issue with NGF, file in our repo. If it's an issue with the Gateway API itself, file an issue in their repo.

If all conformance tests pass, post in the Gateway API slack channel that the release candidate looks good.
