ktunnel broke sometime around 1.5

I haven't really tracked down the issue yet, because I don't fully understand why. But on a Windows host, ktunnel has only been working with 1.4.x.

1.4.4 is seemingly the last version that runs on both my EKS and on-premises clusters

the latest on macOS breaks with #88 if I hand-deploy the deployments

otherwise, both Windows and macOS glitches with no activity, hanging on waiting for deployment. Ctrl+C on both platforms cannot seem to close client tunnels.
