Before proceeding, is there an existing issue or discussion for this?

Description

Sometimes it may be difficult for a user to click on an element (anchor, model, wall, etc) that they want to select. Maybe the element is too small, or maybe it's obscured by other objects.

We should provide a feature that lets the user draw a region (maybe just a rectangle) with the cursor and then the user will be provided a list of all selectable elements that touch that region. Then the user can scroll through the list and select the element they were looking for.
